1 // action because what is technology.
[Colwyn is in a bit of a quandry. While it is not beyond his ability to comprehend the jumping of worlds, as the Beast's dread castle does just that, he is rather confused and consternated to be experiencing it for himself. He has lost his band of merry men, as well as his mentor, and now finds himself in the middle of a quest with no idea in which direction to turn next.
The only thing he can really think to do is find himself a seer.
So that is the task he takes up, approaching the various and sundry residents of dear Burby with a regal and a single question:]
Where may I find a seer?

[The inside of the shop is like an antique store gone mad. There's brickabrack from all over the place. Weapons next to books next to clothes next to jack-in-the-boxes next to mystical looking jewelry.]
[Alec appears to not have moved from his position outside.]
no subject
...But weapons are always good...]

The door jangles form the bell as Alec comes in.]
Hey. Do you need any help with anything?
no subject
I was directed this way in search of a seer.
no subject
Oh? by whom?
no subject
[And while he was slightly suspicious of the man, this guy sure looks a bit mystical and magical, so he is tentatively reserving judgment just yet.]
no subject
Ah. The little rat.
And what did he say I could do for you?
[There are very few things that Alec couldn't out mystical or magical... like unicorns... he's got the shtick pretty well down.]
no subject
I've been waylaid from my quest and was looking for a seer's guidance.
no subject
[He peers at Colwyn curiously.]
no subject
My bride's life is at stake, the entirety of our kingdoms.
[If you could totally stop making light of it.]
no subject
And now you're stuck in a strange place with no visible way to get back to them.
So. What do you want me to tell you? That you'll get back to them? Or how will you get back to them?
no subject
[Seriously. Yes.]
And where the Beast's citadel will next appear.
no subject
Should he go all mystic on the guy?
Should he not?
Oh, decisions. Decisions.]
You are in a land where time has no meaning and in a place where the Citadel cannot reach. As long as you are here, your quest is as unmoving as a mountain. Frozen and waiting for you to return.
[How was that?]
no subject
...Lyssa will not be harmed?
[Just for clarification because that is definitely something he needs to check.]
no subject
[Because he has NO fucking clue what state Lyssa was in when Colwyn got here. So, bet hedging!]
no subject
Very well. [ He murmurs, eventually. Lifting a hand to rub across his eyes. ] What are you owed now?
[ He hopes it's nothing he'll have to climb a volcano for. ]
no subject
A favor at some point?
no subject
[He's not surprised by that request, just a bit wary about what he'll have to give up in the end.]
no subject
I'm Alec, by the way.
[It won't be anything horrible. Alec isn't that mean.]
no subject
[Here is some flourishey bowing.]

Pleasure to meet you Prince Colwyn. I hope you like it here in Burby.
