1 // action because what is technology.
[Colwyn is in a bit of a quandry. While it is not beyond his ability to comprehend the jumping of worlds, as the Beast's dread castle does just that, he is rather confused and consternated to be experiencing it for himself. He has lost his band of merry men, as well as his mentor, and now finds himself in the middle of a quest with no idea in which direction to turn next.
The only thing he can really think to do is find himself a seer.
So that is the task he takes up, approaching the various and sundry residents of dear Burby with a regal and a single question:]
Where may I find a seer?

Hi there! Are you new in town?
no subject
Indeed I am. [He bows with a nimble flourish of the hand.] Prince Colwyn, at your service.
[Which is slightly facetious because he's the one who needs some help here. But. Child.]
no subject
[She curtsies prettily.]
It's an honor to meet you, your highness.
no subject
[Not much when your planet has been ravaged by an inter-dimensional monstrosity, let me tell you.]
What is your name, little one?
no subject
[She peers around curiously]
Where's your horse?

I'm assuming you don't mean someone who can visually see things?
no subject
Inner sight. Sight beyond sight.
[He makes a dismissive hand-gesture because he doesn't really understand it, and is slightly distrustful of it, but knows that there are powers beyond himself. That they deserve a modicum of respect that he gives lest he suffer the consequences.]
no subject
Oh. Spirit sight. I can't say I know anyone like that.

[Colwyn does not posit the name of the order he knows, they were corrupted by the Beast. He wants nothing more to do with the Emerald Seers.]

[ This comes from a young lady of around twenty. There's... nothing in particular about her. She's tall and lean and not particularly pretty, but she probably comes off as very self-possessed for her age. She probably doesn't, however, come off as ~mystical~ and seer-like as she would probably prefer - especially since she's wearing twenty-first century clothing. ]
no subject
[You are dressed weird lady.]
Do you know where it may be addressed?
no subject
no subject
[Because he's not even posed said question yet.]
no subject
This may be due to the lightning, courtesy of the little cloud following her around, that just burnt her to a crisp.]
Ow.
no subject
That is a dreadful curse.
no subject
No curse. I come from a very iron-rich family; this happens all the time.
[Siiiiigh.]
no subject
[What does that have to do with anything qurl. It doesn't matter.]
You're certain your spells have not gone awry?
[Cause you could pass for a witch, if... tiny. So cute.]

I've never really held much faith in things like that.
[ She's more of a solid idea type of person. ]
no subject
At this moment I know of nowhere else to turn.
no subject
I'm no seer, but I could answer some of your questions, if you'd like.
no subject
I am hunting a beast.
[The Beast, one and only inter-dimensional scourge of the known universe. His people once had access to that infinitude, it was in their histories and their prophecies. But the Beast had thrown them back to their medieval days.]
He has captured my wife.
[There's a... steely little glint at his eye to speak on Lyssa.]

[The inside of the shop is like an antique store gone mad. There's brickabrack from all over the place. Weapons next to books next to clothes next to jack-in-the-boxes next to mystical looking jewelry.]
[Alec appears to not have moved from his position outside.]
