[Colwyn is in a bit of a quandry. While it is not beyond his ability to comprehend the jumping of worlds, as the Beast's dread castle does just that, he is rather confused and consternated to be experiencing it for himself. He has lost his band of merry men, as well as his mentor, and now finds himself in the middle of a quest with no idea in which direction to turn next.

The only thing he can really think to do is find himself a seer.

So that is the task he takes up, approaching the various and sundry residents of dear Burby with a regal and a single question:]

[Alec rocks on his his heels for a moment, staring up at the sky thoughtfully.

Should he go all mystic on the guy?

You are in a land where time has no meaning and in a place where the Citadel cannot reach. As long as you are here, your quest is as unmoving as a mountain. Frozen and waiting for you to return.

[Because he has NO fucking clue what state Lyssa was in when Colwyn got here. So, bet hedging!]

[ She's alive. But captive, a prize for the Beast. Colwyn's eyes close for a moment, the first time he's shown just how tired he really is. The travel has not been easy. He is not relieved for this detour, only that it will not cost Lyssa her life. ]

Very well. [ He murmurs, eventually. Lifting a hand to rub across his eyes. ] What are you owed now?

[ He hopes it's nothing he'll have to climb a volcano for. ]

[Oh right. Payment for information. Alec hasn't a clue what to ask for and he wasn't actually thinking about asking. But there were rules. He didn't actually provide much information...]

[He's not surprised by that request, just a bit wary about what he'll have to give up in the end.]
