Alec is sitting outside his shop, in jeans and a tee-shirt despite the cold, with a bowl of chopped up squares of meat. At least he's not barefoot? Circling him is a small brown dragon, about the length of his arm with a snub nose and jeweled eyes. He fishes out a piece of meat from the bowl and then flicks it into the air.
The piece of meat vanishes after leaving his hands and then the little dragon does too. The meat cube reappears somewhere in the square randomly and the dragon snatching it up just seconds behind it.
It then wings its way back to Alec and trills at him, obviously saying 'again'.

"That's quite the creature."
And if she'd been more familiar with ancient Earth lore, she might've recognized it as a some sort of dragon. However, she is not as well versed as her pilot is, and although the shape of the tiny being reminds her of something, perhaps from childhood, she can't quite put her finger on it. Not that it matters, as she's encountered dozens of species that are nothing like the humanoids and bipeds that make up a good portion of the Federation races, nevermind the other sentient beings that inhabit worlds in both the Alpha and Delta Quadrants.

apologies. multitasking around work = tagging goofs.
No worries. That is why there is comment deleting.

She wanders over to say hello and meet the creature.
"He's so pretty!" she says.

"Is he your pet?" She asks it after a long moment of watching, aware that that's rude, turning her attention more to Alec than the dragon.
