Getting a Dog: Pros and Cons

Pros
1. Dogs are great companions.
2. It would be kind to take in a stray.
3. Pets lower your blood pressure.
4. I want one.
5. It will teach Shirley responsibility. And structure.

Cons
1. If we leave, the dog will still be here, all alone.
2. I would miss the dog if we left it here.
3. We live in a hotel room. Dogs need space.
4. It may be a crazy magic dog or something. (Note to self: make sure dog isn't really a man.)

Yeah, I still don't know if this is a good idea.

Maybe not literally the entire floor. Just most of it.

I reserve the right to install small public weirdness projects as I see fit.

I reserve the right to hide in any closet whenever I want.

No, you should be able to deduce that I'm in there. Think of it as practice!

If I'm trailing cigarette ashes all over the apartment the fact that I'm sitting in a closet is probably the least of your concerns.

Maybe.

I'll think about it.

If I remember.

'The beatings will continue until my memory improves'?

That strategy has long since been ruled ineffective for teaching small children. I think it would be even less effective for people who might actually fight back.

I actually like that idea. It's good tracking practice.
