Participants; Open! You can wander in the same location as Iroh, or find yourself on a different part of the Enterprise entirely
 

Iroh came perilously close to dropping his third favorite teapot. One moment he had been in his kitchen, preparing to open up the Jasmine Dragon for the morning rush. He stepped through the door to the main dining area, and then suddenly he was somewhere else: a long, metallic white corridor. He looked behind him, but as expected, there was no door back to his shop.

He sighed and looked down at his pot. "I should have brought a teacup."

"Loooking?" Alec says. He smiles brightly and cheerfully at Wesley.

"I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be in here, looking or doing anything else."

And he lays his hand on his comm badge, opening the channel. "Crusher to security."

Alec waves the screwdriver in the comm badge's direction. If he's got it right the thing will oops, short circuit.

"Oh, but I am. I've got proof." Because he's being an ass, he pulls out some physic paper and shows it to Wesley. It should say that he's an inspector of something or another from Star Fleet. It also says that he's the Doctor.

The comm badge shorting out is enough to raise his suspicion. Any kind of paper document being presented as a supposed credential just deepens that. Paper documentation, from Starfleet? The skepticism is running high here.

"What is that?"

Oh. Come on. Damn it all.

"Proof?"

[deus_ex_cadet]

"I think I'd better check with Commander LaForge about that."

Leaning over the rail, because he doesn't want to leave this guy unattended for any longer than he has to, he calls downward. "Geordi?"

He's banking on the hope that if the chief engineer doesn't hear it himself, one of the officers on the lower level around the core will let him know. This would be a lot easier if his comm badge hadn't shorted out.

After muttering to himself about being rusty, forgetting about paper, not being as good as the Doctor at this, Alec sighs.

"It's not necessary, really."
