element_wizardNormally the shop -still unnamed - was opened early by Alec. His sleep schedule tended to be erratic at best and so he usually was up and about to open it. This is why it was unusual for the shop to be locked around eight.
Upon coming inside, it is easy to see why Alec hasn't opened up.
He's laying on the floor with his sword in his chest. There's a lot of blood on the floor as well as a broken coffee cup. Alec has a rather surprised expression on his face, clearly not expecting getting stabbed.
The detectives should be happy.
