It's fairly common.

Also, it's the only room other than a bathroom which I can assume that you have in your place of residence without knowing anything else about you. Which is why I used it.

Fair enough, though for the moment my days of one-room residences are behind me. And anyway, I suppose you could put one of the tiny ones wherever you wanted.
